Planning Your Recreational Activities

Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel features three resources to help you plan your day with fun and exciting things to do once you arrive.

Our Ho'okipa Department, located in the lobby, is open daily to help you. There, you will find complimentary cultural activities offered to all registered hotel guests and information on our Aloha Passport Program for your kids.

Hale Huaka’I, located steps away from Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel’s sunny shore, brings Hawaiian culture to popular ocean activities such as stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling tour, conch shell blowing and more.

For family activities off property, talk to the informative team at 'Ohana Fun Center for details regarding helicopter tours, snorkeling trips or visiting the Haleakalā volcano crater.

Once a guest has stayed with us they become one of our family ('ohana)which is why we have our Lei Kukui ceremony. Beginning with a traditional chant (oli), the ceremony explains the symbolic significance of our kukui nut leis that we present our guests with. Part of this ceremony is to explain why we are not saying "goodbye" but rather “until we meet again” (A hui hou) because once you are 'ohana, our door will always be open to you.

ʻOhana Welcome Breakfast – Held daily, first of second morning of your stay

Our management staff will be on hand to officially welcome you to “Hawaii’s Most Hawaiian Hotel” for a breakfast buffet, accompanied by live Hawaiian entertainment and a presentation with insider tips on what to do and see on Maui.  Guests also have the opportunity to book Maui tours of their choice.
