The Temporary Beach Sales Alaka'i (Agent) will greet guests with positive, friendly, and helpful attitude. The ideal candidate will utilize the telephone and computer reservation systems to arrange activities and tours along with sales of merchandise and rentals from Moanaku'inamoku while providing excellent guest service; ensure the safety of fellow employees and guests and may be a first responder to emergency situations. This person will handle cash and credit card transactions, and politely ensure adherence to rules and safety guidelines. They will use strong observational skills to proactively identify and address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the hotel/resort or surrounding areas. Keep area clean, safe, and tidy. Provide and receive feedback positively. 

High school diploma; some college a bonus. Cash handling, Al-Desk and Fare Harbor reservations systems experience a plus. Must possess a valid Hawai'i driver's license.

Seeking a Temporary FT Beach Alaka'i (Attendant) position at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel.  This is the dream job for those passionate about preserving the Hawaiian culture through ocean and beach activities!

This position will be dedicated to serving as an ambassador of the Aloha Spirit providing a Hawaiian beach culture for our guests while delivering our beach and ocean activities program. Must be able to teach water sports and have Hawaiian cultural knowledge. The ability to teach and guide ocean sports and water safety desired. Water safety, CPR, first aid certification a plus.  Basic knowledge of Hawaiian culture and natural history, Hawaiian Language, marine biology, weather, and ocean dynamics preferred.

We have a Temporary FT Houseman position available in our Housekeeping Department! Duties include but not limited to: lifts and moves furniture; cleans and services restrooms; washes windows and wall with special cleaners and solutions; transports and supplies inventory; sorts, removes, and transports soiled linen from guest rooms to the Laundry Department; performs duties of a room attendant when needed; performs other related duties as assigned or required, etc.

Some desired strengths include basic knowledge of cleaning and chemical supplies, good organizational skills, and the ability to work with others and acknowledging guests.  Basic working knowledge of the English language and one year Housekeeping experience desired.

Seeking an energetic individual to join our Culinary Department as a Temporary FT Kitchen Utility.  Some duties for this position will include: being able to operate a dish machine, have the knowledge and understanding of cleaning and chemical supplies, assist with function set-up and cleaning according to charts, diagrams, etc. have knowledge of safe food handling and follows organization of all storages (food, equipment, glassware, silver, china, etc.). May assist with minor food preparation, garnishing, plating, food serving, food running, salad preps, etc.

Our Food & Beverage Department has an opening for a Temporary FT Bushelp.  Some of the job duties include:  bussing and resetting tables, performs tasks for proper set up and break down of the restaurant, replenish supplies necessary for operations, and maintain areas of responsibility for cleanliness and attractiveness.

Ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills; utilize time efficiently, display a positive attitude towards work, co-workers, and company policies and philosophies, work well under pressure, and have effective verbal communication skills.  Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs.  Experience helpful, but not required.  TB Clearance required.
