Accounts Receivable Specialist | Full-Time

Come and join our Accounting department as an Accounts Receivable Specialist! Some responsibilities will include: create billing and collect on all Hotel Receivables (Wholesalers, Tour Operators, Staff C/L, etc.) in a timely manner and be familiar with Wholesaler contract terms and Hotel Property Management Systems. Other duties may include (but not limited to): General Cashier relief, Mail person relief, order office supplies, and issue travel agent commission checks.

Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with SMS Host (preferred) and have some receivables background. This person must be able to operate 10-key calculators, MS Office programs (MS Word/Excel) and be efficient and organized in managing files and records.  Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external guests.  High School degree required; Associates degree in Accounting desired; Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and analyzing and reporting of financial data.  Prior hotel Accounting experience helpful.
