Available Room Types
The Best Rate Guarantee applies to an identical room type to include room view/category, inclusions, and number of guests.
Multiple Night Stay
In the event of a multiple night stay, the Best Rate Guarantee will compare the total room cost of the stay as booked online at www.kbhmaui.com with the total room cost of the stay booked at a Competing Rate.
All stays consisting of two or more consecutive nights are considered a single stay and the Best Rate Guarantee may be applied to that one stay.
The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to packaged rates. Packaged rates include:
Hotel rooms sold as part of a travel package with extra services, airfare, car rental, etc.
Hotel rooms sold with additional inclusions, including, but not limited to, optional activity tours, meals (other than breakfast), and entertainment.
The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates. These rates include, but are not limited to:
- Group rates
- Meeting and convention rates
- Membership or negotiated rates
- Corporate rates
- Consolidator rates
- Rates available on the web that do not disclose the name of the hotel property until the transaction is completed
- Rates available on auction web sites
- Any rates requiring membership in a club such as AAA rates or AARP rates, affinity programs, or other organizations where the rates are targeted toward a specific group of individuals and not intended for the general public
- Employee rates
- Military rates
- Government rates
- Direct mail solicitations
- Electronic mail solicitations
Important Conditional Information
Kaanapali Beach Hotel associates have the sole right to determine the validity of any claim determining that the claim is for the same room type and dates, and that it meets all Terms and Conditions and Claims Processing requirements.
Kaanapali Beach Hotel shall not be liable for the payment of any credits under the Best Rate Guarantee with respect to rates loaded in error by a supplier or any printing, typographical, administrative, or technological errors in any materials relating to the Best Rate Guarantee.
In the event of a dispute regarding the Best Rate Guarantee, the decision of Kaanapali Beach Hotel shall be final and binding on all parties.
Void where prohibited by law.
Kaanapali Beach Hotel reserves the right to amend, revise, supplement, suspend, or discontinue the Best Rate Guarantee at anytime in its sole discretion and without prior notice.
Communication for Valid Claim
Upon validation of the claim, a Kaanapali Beach Hotel associate will send an email to you with the reservation confirmation number and the new rate to be charged.
You will receive a credit for the difference of the total room rate including taxes and fees upon arrival at the hotel at which time your guest room account will be credited. Credit may be applied to incidental purchases or refunded if unused upon departure.
A claim must be submitted using the below form within 24 hours of the initial reservation confirmed through www.kbhmaui.com and at least 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival.
Kaanapali Beach Hotel Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to existing reservations booked through a third party reservation service and is not responsible for any fees associated with the cancellation of that reservation.
