Thanksgiving 2007 at Kaanapali Beach Hotel
Kaanapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii (October 1, 2007) - Bring the ohana (family) together for a special Hawaiian style feast on Thursday, November 22nd at Kaanapali Beach Hotel’s Tiki Terrace Restaurant, Courtyard and Kanahele Room.*
Award-winning chefs will present a fabulous all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving buffet. The menu will feature kiawe smoked beef, rotisserie roasted turkey with accompaniments of shiitake mushroom and corn stuffing, fresh cranberry sauce, and garlic-mashed potatoes. Other hot entrées include passion fruit glazed ham, pepper smoked pork loin with apple chutney, baked mahi mahi & vegetables in Thai curry sauce, and tender, slow-roast barbeque brisket. Seafood lovers will enjoy the iced buffet of peel & eat shrimp, cold crab legs, kiawe-smoked salmon and oysters-on-the-half shell. There will be exclusive keiki specialties and an array of decadent desserts – pumpkin pie, apple pie, tropical fruit cheese cake, and Chef Tom Muromoto’s signature bread pudding with whiskey sauce – just to name a few.
The Early Bird Special starts at 11:00 a.m. with the last seating at 1:30 p.m. The price for adults is $38.95 and $20.00 for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Regular dinner hours are 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and pricing is $45.95 for adults and $20.00 for children ages 6 through 12. Children 5 years and younger dine for free (one child per paid adult). Lanui will entertain with music from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a complimentary hula show from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
