Introducing the "19th Hole" Golf Package
Maui, Hawaii (January 11, 2006) - The Kaanapali Beach Hotel has launched the new “19th Hole” package, available year round, based on availability. The package includes a three-night stay in a partial ocean view room, mid-size car rental, daily breakfast for two at the Mixed Plate Restaurant, one round of golf per person at one of the Kaanapali Golf Courses followed by a complimentary cocktail. The “19th Hole” package is $999, representing a savings of more than 20%.
Guest who book the “19th Hole” package can also take advantage of the numerous complimentary Hawaiian cultural activities including hula lessons, lau (leaf) printing, sand image classes, poi pounding, ukulele classes, cultural garden tours and more.
About the Kaanapali Tournament North Course
Boasting a rich history, the Tournament North Course has hosted the Senior PGA Tour’s Kaanapali Classic, the LPGA’s Kemper Open, the Canada Cup, Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf and other high profile amateur tournaments. Among the golf legends it has challenged are Hale Irwin, Arnold Palmer, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Lee Trevino and Tom Weiskopf. The par-71 Tournament North Course is one of only two layouts in Hawaii designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr.
About the Kaanapali Resort South Course
The Resort South Course has many holes running along natural canals, gulches and lava rock boundaries. Robin Nelson, golf course architect, dubbed “Mr. Hawaii” for his hand in the design or redesign over 30 courses across the Hawaiian Islands, is overseeing the enhancements to the original Arthur Jack Snyder designed layout. The course was recognized by Golf for Women as one of the most “Women Friendly” in the U.S., and it will remain so under Nelson’s guidance.
